Characteristics

An extremely long, but very beautiful via ferrata in the Dolomites in a huge rocky massif. Can offer few harder sections difficulty D, but many relaxing "walking" places.

Arrival

Innsbruck - Brenner - Bolzano exit. Then you will drive for a long time through Carezza to Agordo to Passo Duran.

Approach

From Passo Duran along the marked road to Riffugio Carestiato. From the hut down the road 554 and then go down towards the big yellow overhanging wall (the start of the ferrata is visible from far away).

Exit

From Forcella della Masenade descend northeast through Grisetti bivouac and straight down to Passo Duran. Or usually continue over to the top of Moiazza Sud and then descend through the Angel footbridge to the biv. Ghedini and down south back to the hut.
