Characteristics

Beautiful mountain ferrata with a view on the Zugspitze. Most of the road copy the rocky ridge and it is of C difficulty. Heavy passages alternate with the rest. Two heavier sections of D / E, a challenging and exposed chimney can cause problems. Ideal for staying at the Cobruger Haus - from the cottage is ferrata approx. 25 minutes.

Arrival

Arrive to the Ehrwalder - Alm - Bahn (signpost) cable car where is a large parking lot.

Approach

From the car park on a hiking trail along to Lake Seebensee (longer trip) or via light ferrata Hohen Gang. Both roads takas approx. an hour's walk. From the lake to the Cobruger Haus and approx. 25 minutes to ferrata. You can even get under the ferrata directly, but we recommend leave the backpacks at the Cobruger Haus.
