Characteristics

One of the longest ferrata in Austria, it has almost 1200m and it is a combination of three remaining ferratas leading up to the Dachstein. The difficulty is not only due to its length, but also E passage. You need to have glacier gear and experience with the movement on the glacier.

Arrival

Ramsau am Dachstein, continue straight ahead and then take the Dachsteinstraße on the right up to the car park.

Approach

Follow the marked Pernerweg route in the direction of Tor to Anne-Klettersteig.

Exit

From the top on the normal way (B) to the Hallstatt glacier through the Dachsteinwarte to the cable car.
