Characteristics

A via ferrata with clamps and a narrow passage through a crevice in the rock. The most difficult part is at the beginning, about 3 m at difficulty level III-, followed by a climb inside the rock where you have to take off your backpack as it won't fit through. A via ferrata set has little use here, but some people still take it with them, especially children who need to be secured with a rope.

Arrival

Hřensko -> Schmilka.

Boarding

From Schmilka via the Wurzelweg, turn onto the Herilsgrund (yellow path) and take the second forest path on the right up to the rock, where the entrance is with a few cramps. Then to the left below the beginning of the via ferrata.

Exit

I recommend the Lehnsteig or the more beautiful Heiligen Steige.
