Characteristics

A beautiful mountainous via ferrata with panoramic views! Good physical condition is necessary, in conjunction with another via ferrata it is a whole day trip, about 8-10hrs. If you want to do a loop, ascend on this ferrata to Rigidalstock and descend on RigidalstockGRAT. According to the official topo both should descend on RigidalstockGRAT. On hte way up it can be combined with BrunniStöckli or BrunniZittergrat. Find topo amongst photos.

Arrival

Engelberg, Switzerland.

Approach

From Engelberg walk to the upper station of the Brunni cable car. Blue and white marking towards Rigidal. Either follow it, or through the Brunistöckli or Zittergrat to Schonneg. Further left along the meadow until you reach Uf den Stucklenen. At the boulder field, either left to the Rigidalstockwand ferrata, or to the right to Rigidalstockgrat.

Descent

Follow the eastern wall of the ferrata Rigidals Grat.
