Grandlspitz Klettersteig is an alternative if you want some ferrata in this area and Königsjodler seems too difficult and especially long. Only 170m of climbing awaits you, but you enjoy the same views anyway.
Arrival
Bishofshofen and then on B164 to Dientner Sattel. The car park is on the right side next to the Hochkönigstraße.
Approach
From the parking lot up the Salzburger Almenweg. At the Erichhütte go to the Hohe Scharte. Just before the crossroad turn left between Taghaube and Grandlspitz and you will arrive to the start.
Exit
You will go back to the Erichhütte
