Characteristics
The Ferrata del Passo della Porta is a secured path with many ladders and chains that stretches on the north and east side of the Presolana group and leads to the summit of Monte Visolo. It is not a particularly difficult via ferrata, more of a hike that occasionally uses ladders or chains.
Arrival
The starting point of the trail is Colere in the province of Bergamo. Where you can park depends on the route you choose.
Boarding
If you want to take the CAI 403 (shorter ascent route and passage via Rifugio Albani), go to the town of Colere and park on Via Carbonera, right at the entrance to the cable car. Here is the point on the map: https://goo.gl/maps/sGUVgUJJVWby86eb7
If you want to go up the CAI 402 (go up without passing the Rifugio Albani), turn left in Colere, cross Ole and park in a clearing from which you set off for the hill.
Exit
The descent from the summit is to the town of Cantoniera della Presolana, from where a bus takes you back to the ski area in Colere.
