Characteristics

A sporty and airy via ferrata with a view of the city of Thônes. At the beginning there is an airy rope bridge, after section C/D comes the first descent, and at the end of the via ferrata there is the opportunity to overcome a heavy overhang E/F. However, this can be avoided using a ladder on the inside. If you don't dare to do that, you have the option of leaving the via ferrata via the second descent.

Annecy-Thones.

Boarding

From the parking lot, walk along the road for a bit, then turn left into the forest (large information sign about the via ferrata) and after a few minutes you will reach the entrance to the via ferrata.

Exit

Down a steep and slippery path into the city.

Interesting facts

From the via ferrata you also have a wonderful view of the Bornes massif and its peaks Tournette, Lanfonnet and Balchamps.
