Characteristics

If we have to give it a but, it is that it is short, but very well searched for that line along the rock, finding an explosive and hard via ferrata, steps placed horizontally and others placed vertically to increase that difficulty. As we approach the end the views are magnificent and the feeling of a patio increases to end up ascending and sharing the final part with the other ferrata. Passing a long wooden walkway and ending at a small wall to finish this beautiful ferrata. With incredible views.

Arrival

We will arrive along the CUV-9031 highway, passing through some tunnels called Puerta del Inferno. As soon as we enter the town of Fuertescusa, we will see the town hotel and look for parking nearby.

Approach

Once we park, we will undo the path taken with the car, walking along the road (very carefully as cars pass by) on our right along the shoulder or along the margin that exists so as not to walk in the lane, until we find the indicator panel for the ferrata. And behind it is the path that obviously ascends towards the two ferratas and at the fork we will choose which one to take, in this case we will take the path to the left.

Descent

We will sense the blurred path between the cemetery and the cliffs, descending between them until we reach the margin by which we will reach the road once at this point or we will return to the beginning to make the other ferrata or we will head to the town.

Points of interest

- As typical for the style in Spain/France the cable is only for security and should NOT be used for climbing, so of course also the difficulty level is based on that (different style like in the alps etc. where the cable has much more tension and counts as part of the ferrata)
