Characteristics

Very nice mountain ferrata in the Dolomites. Ferrata leads through the beautiful airy ridge and it is full of interesting and heavy sections. In particular, the first meters of ferrata require balance and patience. Ferrata will reward you with beautiful views of Marmolade.

Arrival

Go to Klausen and continue to Canazei via Sellajoch. From here you will go to Lake Fedaia to Riffugi E. Castiglioni.

Approach

From E. Castiglioni you will cross the road and follow the marked path to the station Porta Vescova. From here you go directly right to the top of the ridge to the beginning of the ferrata.

Exit

From the bivouac Bontadini descend along a marked gravel road to the Fedaiasee Dam, and then, on the other side of the dam, you go back to the car. Alternatively, go back to Riffugi E. Castiglioni and use the same way.
