Characteristics
A small and simple via ferrata Rotstock - Klettersteig is known for only one thing - it is just below Eiger! The top is Rotstock at altitude 2663m.
Arrival
Spiez - Interlaken - Grindelwald. From there take the train to the Eiger.
Approach
From the station at Eigergletscher under the north wall of the Eiger to the start of the ferrata. The path is well marked.
Exit
From the top down to the saddle via the blue-white route and then to the glacier. The road is very slippery and dangerous in wet conditions.
