Characteristics
A simple via ferrata where no equipment is needed. Ideal as an exit path from the Predigstuhl Peak.
Arrival
Linz - Bad Ischl - Bad Goisern - Keep going on the main road and follow the winding road up the hill to Predigstuhl. (northern part of Hallstattsee) Large parking lot directly at the cottage.
Approach
From the car park, turn left (west) along the bike path and then turn onto Wanderweg 246.
Exit
The same way back, or choose one of the other variants eg: go to the top of Predigstuhl, or descend to the tunnels in the rocks at Hohenweg.
Interesting facts
Suitable as an exit path from the top of Predigstuhl.
