Characteristics

Via ferrata Ottenalm-Direttissima is the hardest one of the ferratas in the Klettersteigpark at Ottenalm. Definitely not to underestimate. Being in the shade, it can be very damp. There are a few overhangs which demand quite bit of strength. The whole area is very nice and you can easily spend a half a day climbing there.

Arrival

Salzburg - Walchsee - in the village to the right in front of the Hotel Schick and continue to the sports ground where there is a large car park.

Approach

From the parking lot through the forest path straight to the Ottenalm hut. From there it is about 5min to the start of the ferrata.

Exit

Go left past the rock through the forest down to the cottage.
