Characteristics

Ferrata was built in October (28) 2017. It is beautiful, attractive, really adrenaline, dangerous but irresistible.

Ferrata is only for the most experienced climbers, it is the hardest ferrata in Slovakia with difficulty E, which is respected by the experienced mountaineers. In its total length of 70 meters, overhanging 4 meters, making it extremely challenging. It uses the minimum of climbing elements and the path is difficult constantly over the whole length !!!

On the right, it goes into the "chimney", which splits into more variants.

In the middle of the chimney, the paths are divided.

- 1) One variation goes through the chimney.

- 2) The second variant leads to Trubačov tower, over the exposed pillar with beautiful views.

- 3) Third variant ja via ferrata "Kominárska". It separates in the last meters from the chimney and runs through the black hole, a short variant - only 8 meters.

On the opposite side of the ridge there is a rock with "Miniferrata" and "Jánošíkova diera".

The Miniferrata is only 30 meters long and is not high.

Jánošíková Diera is a crack in the rock, which can be reached horizontally 9 meters after the safety rope. But there is a need of a headlamp!

Arrival

By car from Kremnica to the ski center Skalka (parking).

From the parking lot on the way to the transmitter and to viewpoint on the ridge.

The entrance is located directly on the red mark between the Pekná vyhliadka (upper station of the cable car) on Skalka and Tunel saddle (Kremnica tunnel), about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the nice view.
