Characteristics

A nice ridge via ferrata to the top of the Kitzbüheler Horns. It was opened in 2014. The ferrata switches between harder sections C / D and easier, relaxing walking passages.

Arrival

Salzburg and then on the motorway south and take the exit to Bischofshofen. Then drive through Saalfelden to St. St. Johann im Tirol. Here you can park at the Harschbichlbahn cable car station.

Approach

The ferrata is visible from the Harschbichlbahn cable car. Follow the marked trail in the direction of Kitzbuheler Horns until you reach the training ferratas. From there, after a few minutes further along the way, turn at the signposted sign to the left where is the start of the ferrata.

Exit

Follow the marked trail back down to the cable car.
