Characteristics

Interesting and simple ferrata in Hohe Wand, offering unique views. To get on the secured way, we need to get from the Loderhof by a marked forest road, which passes into a violent sloping climb uphill beneath the rock wall. The secured path begins in a section with cut-up stairs in the rock, secured by a steel rope (A). It opens onto a magnificent viewing platform below a huge rock overhang. Here is a bench with a book. The road to the fantastic rocky chimney follows, secured by cramps and rope (A / B). There are ladders In the narrow chimney. After that thee is only a simple terrain that is secured (A). The road runs alongside the Hanselsteighaus hut beside the Hohe Wand Straße mountain road.

Light ferrata that is rated A / B.
