Characteristics

The "Montana Land" Adventure Park was opened in April 28, 2018, near Suncuius, Crisul Repede defile / Gorge, in the Padurea Craiului Mountains, the Danube Region of Apuseni. It was funded and built by the CASSIO Montana sports club (https://www.facebook.com/CassioMontanaOradea/) exclusively from club funds.

The start of the journey is easy on rocky slopes, followed by a small traverse and vertical climb. After that the first possibility of exit. This is followed by a traverse to the right with a resting cave at the end with two hammocks - WARNING !! Stay protected even while swinging and sitting in them. Behind the cave, continue about 3 meters slightly overhanging wall that heads to second emergency exit. The main route continues with another approx. 5 meter traverse followed by several tens of meters vertical wall behind which is the end of the ferrata.

 

Arrival

You can park your car at the Gradia guesthouse, parking directly under the rock is not recommended due to falling rocks.

From the parking along the river Repede to the start

Exit

On the way through the forest back to the parking lot (5-10min) right after the end of the ferrata. During the journey both exit variants join from the left - the descent continues to the right.
