Characteristics
Via Ferrata Gamma al Pizzo d`Erna was built in 1979, it is a beautiful ridge leading to the peak of Pizo d`Erna (1366 m). It is one of the most popular ferrata in this part of Italy. Ferrata offers 22 ladders, many steel pins, a secured chain and a beautiful view. The first part of the ferrata (240m) leads from the beginning to the vegetation, the second part (approx. 300m high) leads only on the rock.
You can continue to the top of Resegone Feratami Sentiero Carlo Villa, Via Ferrata de Franco Silvano and Via Ferrata del Cinquantenario.
Arrival
Turn from Lecco to the Bergbahn. The road to "Funivia" is partially marked. It also helps to enter the "Prealpi" road in the navigation system. Parking at the cable car¨costs 2 €
Approach
Go to the right from the cable car along the marked path to the paved road. Turn right and continue to the sign and turn to the via ferrata. Via ferrata begins at the rock wall.
Exit
Continue to Piani d'Erna. Take the cable car (6 €) 10min, which will take you back to the parking lot.
