The Ferrata is a normal access route to the top of Dachstein. It is not difficult, but it leads along a beautiful exposed ridge that leads to the top cross. Watch out for the falling stones.
Arrival
Gosau. In front of Lake Vorderer Gosausee there is a parking lot.
Approach
From Lake Vorderer Gosausee to Adamek Hutte, where we recommend to sleep. Early in the morning go over the glacier to the farthest seadle where the ferreta begins. Beware, use crampons and rope to secure yourselves, because there is a lot of crevasses.
