Characteristics

A beautiful via ferrata in Switzerland with beautiful views. The difficulty is C/D which is mainly at the beginning, then you will enjoy easier climbing at a nice exposition. There is a rope bridge. On the top is the possibility to use a easier variant of difficulty B, which in 2/3 connects with the harder variant and so the ferrata is suitable even for beginners.

Arrival

Ideally via Zurich - Luzern to Engelberg. Here park in the parking lot by the cable car.

Approach

From the top station of the Brunnihutte cable car, follow the blue sign directly to the start of the ferrata. At a comfortable pace it takes approx. 60 minutes.

Exit

Follow the marked trail back to the cable car.

Interesting facts

At the cable car's top station you can take a rope slide down to the valley or go downhill on a scooter.
