Characteristics

Simple but very nice ferrata leading to the top of the beautiful Alpspitze mountain, from which is a stunning view on Zugspitze. Despite the light passages A / B (difficulty B only at the beginning), Ferrata leads through an interesting and exposed terrain.

Arrival

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where you can get to the Alpsitzbahn.

Approach

From the Alpspitzbahn cable car along the marked path to the ferrata /Nordwandsteig.

Exit

From the top through the Ostgrat  (A / B) and by the marked way you can get to the cable car.
